SWART respects your privacy and ensures that the personal information you provide remains confidential. In this privacy statement you can read what information we collect when you use our services and/or products, why we collect this information and what we do with it. We also tell you what your rights are, who has access to your data and how long we keep your data. Processing purposes and retention period
SWART collects and processes your data for the purposes stated below. We use both data that you provide to us and data that we collect ourselves (for example about your visit to our website). We store personal data for the time necessary to achieve the purpose, or for the time prescribed by law (e.g. retention of accounting documents).
Fulfill your order and services
To process your order and services, we need your name, email address, address, delivery address, payment details and sometimes also your telephone number. This way we can deliver your order and keep you informed of the progress. The law requires us to keep information about your order for 7 years. Your personal data can be kept for up to 10 years.

Legal grounds for the processing
SWART processes personal data on the basis of the following legal grounds:
• consent (e.g. sending newsletters and invitations; collecting sensitive data)
• necessary for the execution of an agreement (e.g. fulfilling your order)
• necessary to comply with a legal obligation
• necessary for the pursuit of our legitimate interest in doing business

Transfer to third parties
SWART does not sell your personal data to third parties. We do share your data internally with our employees (employed or on a self-employed basis). Furthermore, we only share your data with third parties for:
• Fulfilling your order
• Taking care of the website environment
• Taking care of the IT infrastructure
• Providing (and distributing) newsletters and invitations
Our employees and the third parties we engage are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data. We guarantee that they have taken the necessary security measures for this.

Transfer of Personal Data outside the EER
Some of our suppliers are located outside the European Economic Area. We only share your personal data with third parties outside the EEA if they have signed a processing agreement and guarantee an adequate level of protection, in particular:
• the transfers take place to third countries outside the EEA or to international organizations that provide an adequate level of protection; or
• the transfers take place with Sub-Processors who are subject to binding corporate rules that are recognized in Belgium as providing an adequate level of protection; or
• before the start of the transfer, a standard data protection agreement according to the model adopted by the European Commission was signed between SWART and the supplier.
